Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?

Your list is stored on your device. Only the items you set to "Public" or "Friends only" are saved to our server (Google Firebase) so that they can be shared. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What happens when I get a new device?

Between devices on the same platform you can use iCloud sync on iOS or restore from backup on Android. To move between iOS and Android, use the migration feature in the app. Setting up GitHub sync also keeps your list in your own repository as Markdown.

What is GitHub sync?

It syncs your list both ways with your own GitHub repository. Because it is stored as plain, unencrypted Markdown, you can still read it after you stop using the app.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel from your account settings on the App Store or Google Play. We cannot cancel it on your behalf. Your data is not deleted when you cancel; items beyond the free limit remain visible.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds follow the standard policies of the App Store and Google Play. Please request a refund through the store. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.

How do I delete my account?

You can do it entirely within the app. See Deleting your account for the steps and what is removed.

I am not receiving notifications.

Notifications are off by default. Turn on the types you want in the app's settings, and check that notifications are allowed for the app in your device settings. Notifications are not sent at night (21:00–08:00).

An invitation link does not open the app.

If the app is not installed, this website opens instead. Install the app and open the link again.
